Token mechanics
How this token works
Use liquid ETHFI voting or delegation to influence the covered decisions within Foundation and multisig implementation controls.
Native ETHFI custody creates sETHFI voting exposure; vote or delegate those eligible units to influence covered ether.fi decisions.
Native ETHFI custody participates in withdrawal-revenue ethfi accrual, with variable accrual, source reconciliation limits and solver-dependent exit.
Native ETHFI custody participates in broader protocol-revenue ethfi accrual, with variable accrual, source reconciliation limits and solver-dependent exit.
Protocol-revenue purchases supply token demand and then feed the native reward/liquidity programme; do not add upstream spend to downstream staker value.
Qualifying native ETHFI stake unlocks the documented first-party membership tier or points route, alongside alternative non-token routes.
The Cash Provider offers higher tier-dependent cashback capacity to the eligible staker/member, paid in ETHFI after settlement, a seven-day reward lock and at least USD 5 claimable balance. Only the benefit over free Core counts here. Luxe extends the standard 3% tranche from USD 2000 to USD 10000 monthly, Pinnacle to USD 50000; the benefits page describes a VIP 4% tranche. Rates reset monthly and refunds can reverse rewards. Provider reserve origin is not proven protocol revenue.
The Cash Provider adds category rebates for supported services: Luxe 10% capped at USD 10 per month, Pinnacle 20% capped at USD 20, VIP 30% capped at USD 30. This is separate from base card cashback; unsupported merchants, app-store billing and exhausted caps do not qualify. The caps are per-member capacity, not observed aggregate receipt or protocol-funded revenue.
The Cash Provider offers Pinnacle and VIP members 25% cashback for eligible airport fast-track services, capped at USD 25 and USD 50 per year respectively, resetting January 1. This is avoided cost through a conditional rebate, not a reward for simply holding ETHFI, and no aggregate realized payout or upstream funding mix is established.
The first-party Cash product grants tier-specific free card allowances and included shipping above Core: Luxe two free virtual cards, Pinnacle ten and VIP unlimited; upgraded physical cards include shipping subject to terms. The holder avoids the applicable provider charge when eligible cards are ordered. The monetary value depends on location and actual order; no universal fee or aggregate savings is established.
The Cash product waives its applicable withdrawal charge for eligible Pinnacle/VIP activity within ten monthly withdrawals. This is conditional avoided provider cost; it does not establish that third-party ATM fees vanish or that withdrawing owned principal is income. No fee denominator or observed aggregate saving is proven.
Eligible Pinnacle stakes unlock access to the dedicated account-manager team and VIP stakes to executive support, within first-party programme availability. This is a service right; no imputed salary or cash income is assigned.
A qualifying VIP ETHFI staking route grants access to curated venture deal-flow opportunities under programme eligibility. This is access, not ownership of investments, a guaranteed allocation or a promised investment return.
Eligible stake-qualified membership carries advertised maximum account protection of USD 50000 at Luxe, USD 100000 at Pinnacle and USD 500000 at VIP, compared with USD 10000 at Core. Coverage concerns qualifying unauthorized account-contract exploits, requires claim review and excludes market loss and compromised credentials. These are coverage limits, not cash payouts, deposit insurance or systematic holder income.

Identity and protocol-native boundary
ETHFI is the governance token; eETH/weETH represent different staking principal. Official ETHFI design integrates its own sETHFI vault and stake-qualified membership. Cash Inc./Ltd. are separate commercial Providers, and their rewards are included as token-qualified first-party product benefits with counterparty provenance, not assumed decentralized protocol revenue. Revenue sources, routes and overlap
The dedicated governance programme names all withdrawal-derived revenue for weekly purchases and a portion of broader Stake/Liquid/Cash receipts for monthly purchases. It describes redistribution to sETHFI, with discretionary liquidity allocations. These are two funding components of native accrual; open-market purchases are an upstream indirect Cashflow stage. No total adds purchase spend, staking-accountant accrual and eventual redemptions. Exact current-lot source shares, dollar receipts and total claimed reward income were not established. Programme
| Category | Admitted pathway | Recognition/quantity boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Operations | Weekly withdrawal-funded accrual; monthly broader-receipt accrual; overlapping purchase demand | One observed safe share rate, not separately split reward totals or independently measured revenue |
| Counterparty | Incremental card cashback; category rebates; airport rebates; provider card/shipping and ATM fee savings | Per-member capacity/rates; no aggregate realized provider payment |
| Issuance | None admitted | One-billion total supply is fully minted; float unlocks are not minting |
