1. Transferability Restriction7

Represents the requirement to lock Almanak for a specified time period [TBD] in order to activate the token utility, which only exists in a nontrivial way in the form of veAlmanak. The voting power gained per token locked linearly depends on the remaining locking time in the vein of CRV, which is an explicit inspiration.

[7] = ƒ(lock_time, price_at_lock, locked_quantity)

2. Conditional Action81

Holding voting power denominated in veAlmanak endows the user (which can be a single person or a protocol) to vote on matters in the scope of DAO (such as the schedule of emission or the size of fees and the splitting coefficients of the revenue thereby begotten) and participate in Curve-inspired voting for application of an allocation boost.

It must be noted that, unlike Curve, the allocation itself is not derived purely from this voting. Rather, it is determined based on the TVL and ROI of the particular Vault (a quantitiy of user-supplied capital to be used by the strategies developed by the ecosystem participants) over the past week, and the voting merely applies a boost to the weight thus computed.

[81] = Binary

3. Governance3

The governance value originates from the ability of veAlmanak voters to influence the distribution of the weekly emissions and adjust the protocol parameters.

[3] = ƒ([81], user_vote_allocation, user_strategy_representation)

4. Conditional Action82

If a user who holds veAlmanak also happens to provide capital to one or several Vaults, he is accorded a boost to his weight for the purposes of distribution of emissions.

[82] = Binary

5. Cashflow2

Users who supply capital to Vaults receive a proportional allocation of the emissions due to this vault according to their supplied TVL.

However, staking Almanak allows one to receive a boost to the TVL weight and therefore be given a larger portion of the emissions without the need to supply more liquidity.
