WORM possesses a strengthened emission scarcity as compared to, say, BETH. Where BETH is only constrained by the amount of ETH participants are willing to burn (and, naturally, the total amount of ETH in existence), WORM additionally constrains its emission to be exactly 50 WORM per epoch (presently 30 minutes). This WORM allocation is proportionally distributed between all users who redeem BETH in each epoch, which effectively establishes a different BETH/WORM internal exchange rate at the end of each epoch.
